Video director for software products.
Film-school trained. Five years in live television, five more making video for international software products. I take a product from a blank page to a published video — script, casting, shoot, edit, motion.
Script → casting → shoot → edit → motion. One person, one contract.

When I was a kid, I wouldn’t let anyone change the channel during the commercials. I was watching them on purpose.
Trained to direct, not to follow tutorials.
I studied film and television directing for five years, then spent five more in broadcast — including live shows, where a mistake is on air before you notice it. That is where I learned to work fast, with real people, under real pressure.
For the last five years I have been making video for software products outside Russia: I write the script, cast it, shoot it, cut it, and animate what needs animating. One person instead of five vendors.
The path here
Every step added a layer. None of it was an accident.

Video for international software products
The domain: explaining software to a B2B audience abroad
Five years of product video for software companies outside Russia — script, casting, shoot, edit, end to end. Working with international clients is not a plan here, it is the last five years of work.

AI in production
Leverage: the same idea, a fraction of the budget
Generative footage, AI-assisted scripting and editing — used where it saves money, not as a substitute for direction.
Generation is cheap. Judgment isn’t.
Anyone can generate a shot now. Deciding which shot, and why — that part has not changed, and it is not getting automated.
My eye was trained on films, not on trends. That is what you are hiring.
Kubrick’s framing. Chaplin’s timing. Music videos, where composition and rhythm carry everything.
I use AI where it saves you money, and direct where it can’t.
Built for the viewer, not for the showreel.
I read the retention curve before I write the script. Where people leave tells you more about a video than any brief does.
That does not make me your growth department — I do not control your product, your pricing or your ad budget. It makes me a director who builds the first fifteen seconds knowing exactly what they have to do.
How we work together
We start with a call about the product, not about the video. I come back with a script and a treatment, we agree on it, and then I shoot and cut.
For teams that need video regularly, I work on a monthly basis — an agreed volume, for example two long-form videos and six short ones a month. After each launch I send a short note on what worked and what I would change next time.
Let’s talk about your product.
